This is a feature I’ve always longed for and believe would improve not only congestion but also stress levels for drivers. As someone who drives longer distances but on roads that have fewer lights and lower traffic volumes I can absolutely vouch for how much easier it is mentally and physically to drive consistently vs driving shorter distances with frequent stops & starts.
